Study in Estonia shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year at PIEoneer Awards 2020

The annual PIEoneer Awards are a global awards ceremony that celebrate innovation and achievement across the whole of the international education industry. Study in Estonia’s  campaign Welcome Bags for International Students was chosen as a finalist in the category Marketing Campaign of the Year.
The PIEoneer Awards are organized by an independent media, recruitment and events company The PIE (Professionals in Higher Education), which connects a global community of professionals working in international education. The PIE helps keep up with international education news from around the world via thepienews.com, provides in-depth analysis of industry hot topics and trends in their quarterly magazine The PIE Review, organizes industry networking events and provides information about job opportunities in the international education sector. 
This year’s competition has 18 categories. In addition to the markeing campaign of the year, outstanding achievements will also be selected in the following categories: accommodation provider of the year, championing diversity award, education agency of the year, international alumni of the year, outstanding contribution of the year, public/private partnership of the year, and others. 
The main competitors of Study in Estonia in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category are universities and organizations from the UK and USA, but also a university from Saudi-Arabia:

Study in Estonia’s entry to the PIEoneer Awards was the Welcome Bag campaign for incoming international students. Last year, a record number of 3500 students received a welcome bag. In addition to useful information, the bags also included essential items for dealing with the characteristically cold and dark climate of Estonia. The goal of the bags is to welcome international students to Estonia and provide them with necessary tools for making the most of their experience, so they could make a deeper connection to Estonia and would want to stay here after graduation.
